A Place For You

A quieter space to meet yourself with compassion.

A sunlit woodland path, dappled with early morning light
Like nature, healing can be gentle and unfolding in its own time.

Therapy does not have to begin with knowing exactly what to say. Sometimes it begins with a pause, a breath, and the sense that you no longer have to carry everything alone. Tracie offers a grounded, compassionate space where your experiences can be met with care, curiosity and respect.

03 My Approach

How I Work

My work is warm, relational and parts-informed, with a strong interest in Internal Family Systems-informed therapy and Voice Dialogue. Together, we can begin to understand the parts of you that protect, please, hide, carry pain or keep going — and gently reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have been silenced. I also draw on person-centred therapy, Gestalt therapy and CBT where useful, tailored to what feels right for you.

My aim is to create a warm, non-judgemental space where you feel heard, understood, and supported in moving towards lasting emotional change.

My Practice

The Approaches Used in My Practice

working with warmth, depth and care
.01

Parts Work

Gently getting to know the parts of you that protect, adapt, hide or carry pain — IFS-informed and Voice Dialogue work, met with curiosity rather than judgement.

.02

Person-Centred

A warm, non-judgemental space where you feel heard and understood, so you can reconnect with your own inner wisdom.

.03

Gestalt

Present-moment awareness and authentic contact, helping you reclaim your power and choice in the moment.

.04

Integrative

Drawing on multiple therapeutic models — including CBT where useful — rather than a single approach, tailored to what you need.

We think we listen, but very rarely do we listen with real understanding, true empathy. Yet listening, of this very special kind, is one of the most potent forces for change that I know.
